THAT is very interesting. I contacted them several months ago about this very issue and they responded that they do NOT sponsor low income families in the USA.

Hmmm. New Development?

Thanks a lot for your comment! Women’s Initiative for Self Employment has been serving women entrepreneurs in the San Francisco Bay since 1988. They have helped more than 20,000 women start businesses, create local jobs, and achieve economic self-sufficiency. They have amazing business startup and survival rates. Within 12 months, they increase their income an average of seventy-five percent and seventy percent are still in business five years after graduation. Women’s Initiative provides business training, funding, and support services at five locations in the San Francisco Bay Area: San Francisco, Oakland, Concord, Novato, and San Jose. If you are interested in attending a free workshop to assess your business idea and learn how Women’s Initiative can help you develop and implement your business plan, please see the My Business Action Plan schedule posted on their website for upcoming workshops. I hope this helps.
